A High-Impact Workshop for Trainers & Educator

We learn better and have more fun when stories are part of training. Recent research supports the growing recognition of story as a high-impact learning tool to strengthen motivation, memory, inclusion, and build community.

This workshop will help adult educators and trainers use stories both their own stories and participant stories more purposefully and effectively as a learning tool.

The workshop is highly interactive with activities, presentations, exercises and lots of discussion.

This is a workshop for all trainers novice or seasoned who want to want to design and deliver training sessions with more impact, interest, and lasting learning.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

• Explain why stories increase learning and memory
• Identify the many ways to use stories in workshops and training
• Use a model for planning narrative-based learning activities
• Use simple tools to improve your storytelling
• Identify strategies to help adult learners create and share their own stories
• Identify new strategies to use story in your own training practice
• Identify resources for further exploration
