A Practical Learning Lab for Trainers & Adult Educators
Whether you are a novice or a seasoned workshop leader, whether you facilitate regularly or only occasionally, this workshop will build your training skills and confidence.
Today's workshop participants expect engaging, effective and useful sessions. As a trainer, you need a solid planning strategy, a sound understanding of what works, and a toolkit filled with activities and resources. Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) will help with all of that!
ISW is a 'hands-on' 4-day learning lab designed specifically for trainers who work with adults. You will set your own goals and work on aspects of teaching or training that matter most to you. In this workshop you will prepare and deliver three 10-minute lessons. After each mini-lesson, you receive written, oral and video feedback.

ISW is a proven workshop that benefits both novice and experienced instructors. Developed in BC, it has been used widely in Alberta, BC and California for 25 years. It has also been used at colleges, universities, and businesses in Hong Kong, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, and Guam.
Workshop Details:
Length:4 days is the norm. Variations in time/scheduling are possible.
Two days in week one and two days in week two works well.
